Lynne Cazaly
  Lynne Cazaly
CAZCOM

Profile:

Yes, for the football crazy, Lynne Cazaly is related to Australian football legend Roy Cazaly. The crowd would cheer ‘Up There Cazaly!’ and Lynne takes this cheer with her when she steps in and out of businesses around Australia.

Lynne’s 20+ years experience as a radio broadcaster, and her talents for corporate training, speaking and MC-ing enable her to combine her skills of research, writing, creativity and humour with her corporate know-how.

She formed CAZCOM in 1996 to guide organisations and individuals with their planning, marketing, communication, growth and performance.

Lynne has held senior management, corporate communication and marketing positions since 1985 across industries such as public health, education and training, government, sport, small business and the media.

In recent years she has consulted to AXA Australia, Australia Post, DRAKE International, the Australian Institute of Management, Coles Myer, Bendigo Bank, Golf Australia, Melbourne University and a host of not for profit and small and medium sized enterprises.

These roles have involved projects as diverse as researching, developing and delivering training programs, writing and editing publications, coaching sales and management teams and implementing business development strategies.

Lynne is a sessional lecturer with the Mount Eliza Business School on their Executive MBA Program and with Victoria University in their Communications Degree program. She has also lectured/tutored with RMIT and Holmesglen Institute.

She regularly speaks, facilitates and presents at company workshops, seminars and conferences on topics ranging from sales and business development, communications and writing to strategic planning and marketing. Her ‘softer’ skills sessions include networking and conversation skills, public speaking/presentation skills and effective use of your voice. In short, she is a motivating and engaging presenter, coach and facilitator who works with individuals and groups to help them achieve their project goals, grow their businesses….. and perform.

Lynne Cazaly holds a BA from Victoria University, a Graduate Diploma in Business (Marketing) from RMIT and is completing a Masters in Communication. She is a past Councillor of the Public Relations Institute of Australia and a judge of their annual excellence awards.

She is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, an experienced board director and Chair and a fellow of the prestigious Williamson Community Leadership Program (2002).

Lynne also sailed competitively in high-performance Tasar dinghies for more than 15 years on the waters of Port Phillip in Victoria. This included competing in the state, national and international events of a sport which largely attracts men. Her sailing hobby linked into her career when Lynne headed up the state sailing association, Yachting Victoria in the mid-1990s as their first female Executive Director.

Away from the water these days, Lynne finds thrills and excitement as a member of the improvised comedy theatre troupe, Impro Melbourne’s and playing Theatresports with her impro-colleagues. She is also a keen golfer and jogger.
