Kate is a proven communicator with a strong Public Relations background and over twenty year's experience in the corporate communications sector.

Her expertise includes offering strategic counsel to major accounts including two Industry Skills Councils in the Health and Transport and Distribution Industries. Conducting brand analysis and market research on behalf of clients and supporting clients with all media and launch requirements.

Kate has held senior positions with leading Melbourne communications agencies, where she managed major accounts including Dilmah Tea, Australand, TDT Australia, P&O, Sausage Software, Cardia Technologies Ltd, EmU Tech Pty Ltd, Data & Commerce Ltd, Starlight Children’s Foundation, World Vision, Solace Limited, Cable and Telecoms Ltd. Integral components of Kate’s tenure were strategic planning, media management and liaison, ASX liaison, and recruiting and training of junior consultants.

In addition to consulting experience, Kate has working in-house as National Public Relations Manager with International Financing and Investment Ltd (IF&I). She is a media management and issues management specialist, has created successful relationship marketing and sponsorship campaigns, and is vastly experienced in corporate communication – written and verbal, internal and external.

During her previous position with elite communications consultancy, NCS Communications, in Perth, Kate’s wide variety of clients saw her conduct public relations/communication campaigns for Government property (Central Park), Finance providers (IF&I), private property developers (Richard Noble & Company, Sanwa Vines, Ellenbrook.), Government agencies (GESB, Keystart) The Make-a-Wish Foundation and retailer BedShed.

Kate excelled in the retail sector, managing the state-wide launch of the ‘AirPedic’ bed for Bedshed, Western Australia’s largest bedding retailer. The launch involved cross-promotions with print and electronic media, talk-back opportunities, franchisee and advertising agency liaison. The result was five-times the budgeted sales volume for the launch period.

Kate is a highly sought after speaker and now shares her ‘insider’ knowledge of the PR and media industries with businesses around Australia.
