Caz Ingersole Swimwear Galore

Caz Ingersole has been the Marketing and Online Manager of Swimwear Galore for the past 6 years. She studied marketing at Victoria University and spent the first few years of her career in the outdoor advertising industry before moving permanently into the family business.

Swimwear Galore was founded 30 years ago by Jan Ingersole with a small rack of swimwear sold from a family-owned fabric shop in Carlton. The business is still family-owned and has multiplied into six stores - Fitzroy, St Kilda, Cheltenham, Sorrento, Geelong and recently opened a store in Malvern.

In 2006, Swimwear Galore launched a highly successful online boutique that sells swimwear nationally and internationally. They have enjoyed significant growth each year since it's launch.

The key to their success is recognising that in Australia and all around the world, every BODY is different and every BODY is beautiful. In order to cater for these different body shapes, Swimwear Galore stocks over 70 brands of ladies, men and children's swimwear, as well as accessories.

"It is important to us that our staff understand how to help customers shop for their shape. Let's face it, not many of us look forward to trying on a swimsuit! In 2009, we developed 'Shop by Shape' for our website to help with the often tricky task of finding a style that suits YOUR body -- and the feedback from this has been extremely positive."

Swimwear Galore looks forward to future growth by opening more stores across Victoria and continuing to invest in making their online store the best it can be in its industry.
