Profile:
Amy Lyden has won numerous business awards including the 2006 Telstra Business Women's Awards (NSW-Business Innovation Category). An inspiring businesswoman, she sat on the Small Business Council, a government initiative that addresses issues faced by small business. She also served as the Chairperson of the Australian Businesswomen's Network and has been a mentor to many business owners.
Australia-based Bow Wow Meow was launched in 1995 by Amy when she could not find good quality name tags for her two kittens, Rajah and Jasmine. Bow Wow Meow is now the leading producer of pet tags in Australia, New Zealand and Asia. Bow Wow Meow tags can be found on cats and dogs in over 75 countries, from Iceland to Fiji! Awards include 1995 Best New Product of the Year, 2000 Micro Business of the Year, and the 2002 National Winner Telstra Business Awards.
In 2007 Amy sold Bow Wow Meow and is currently consulting with businesses focusing in on improving online strategies.
