Lynette has been Chair of the NSW Health Industry Council, and a Member of the Australian Government Trade Policy Advisory Council and APEC.

She is Chair the Skilling and Employment initiative of The Hornery Institute, is a Member of Chief Executive Women and Women Chiefs of Enterprise International and has a Prime Minister's Centenary Award for leadership in industry.

Lynette is currently owner and Executive Chair of Work Wear World, a leading supplier of work apparel to the Transport & Logistics industry. The employees have a beneficial interest in the business and participate fully in all aspects, including preparing Business Plans, Board meetings, and financial reports. The business has responded to their passion by growing at over 30% per annum.
