Hi, I'm Suzi Dafnis, Community Director of the Australian Businesswomen's Network. Like most members of the ABN I'm a business owner, and have been since 1994 when I started my first business, an events company which I sold in 2007.
As well as businesses here in Australia in events, personal development and publishing, I started a business in the US in 2000 and moved there for 6.5 years, travelling back and forth between Phoenix Arizona and Sydney.
I'm a passionate supporter of mentoring, networking and education that supports women in business.
As the head of the ABN I am committed to providing products and services to help women grow their business. Education, inspiration and networking is what there is to gain from being a member.
And, I'm a dedicated student of marketing, the internet, social media and entrepreneurship. I'm also the author of the herbusinessblog.com blog which provides daily tips, resources and information to women business owners.

Marketing is an area that I have put a lot of study into, especially online marketing and more recently social media. I'm good at team leadership and communication. (Ok, it's hard saying what you're good at!)

As the Community Director I see my role is to represent our community of business women and to seek out and find (and provide) information, education, networking opportunities and a community that inspires and supports you.
Because I want to be. I've been in this organisation since 1995 when I joined as a member. Since 1998 I've headed up the ABN.
