Events and Training

The Australian Businesswomen's Network is Australia's leading provider of training, mentoring and resources specifically for business women.

Training and continuing education is vital whether you want to further your career in your current workplace, start, manage or grow a business, or become a more skilled business owner.

We understand that your busy schedule may not allow you to attend breakfasts, lunches and dinners so we come to you.

You can participate online from anywhere in Australia (and the world) and take part in interactive training, collaboration and networking with like-minded women.

Leaders in adult education (and with hundreds of events presented nationally since 1989) the ABN understands your learning needs. Our national web-seminars, mentoring program and workshops allow you to increase your knowledge on the subjects that matter most.

Webinars

The Australian Businesswomen's Network is a leader in the use of web-based seminars for business training. Each webinar features an expert presenter, networking and collaboration in the online-classroom, notes and resources as well as a post-webinar forum to ask further questions and discuss the subject with others in the virtual event.

Book Study Groups

Books remain one of the best ways to upskill yourself, to learn from thought-leaders from around the globe and to access important business information. The ABN's bookstudy groups are an online discussion and reading group that will bring to life the views of thought-leaders from around the world. You'll join in, discuss and have great conversations as you learn and grow. Coming late 2009.

Mentoring

Get a business mentor and you'll fast-track your growth and business success. The ABN's MentorNet program gives you six-months of mentoring alongside a professionally-developed business course that trains you in marketing, business planning, human resources, business performance, technology and financials while you take part in a collaborative home study program designed by world leaders in online learning. Learn more about our MentorNet program today.

Home Study Programs

If you are working full-time while planning for your own business then you need access to business education in non-business hours. You'll love our new self-paced home-study programs. Over a few weeks you'll master the key areas of business while a course supervisor supports your progress through the program.

Live Events

While the ABN is an online educational organisation we occasionally hold live events in Sydney (where the ABN head office is located). The annual Businesswomen's Seminar & Expo Day is a great day to come together with women from all over the country to learn, network and get access to resources. The conference is held in the second half of the year and the dates will appear on the Calendar of Events when the event is scheduled.

Quarterly Entrepreneur's Round Tables

Growth Members are invited to attend quarterly facilitated business boardroom meetings. These facilitated sessions are an opportunity for women to address and discuss business issues and to focus the direction of their business development. By invitation only.
