| Thank you for your interest in writing an article for the Australian
Businesswomen's Network (ABN). The ABN currently has two publications:
- The Networker - a bi-monthly, 12 page, newsletter (circulation
2,000)
- Women in Business - a monthly E-newsletter (circulation 7,000)
The ABN actively works to raise the profile of its members and of women
in business. By contributing to publications as a author you will not
only be supporting fellow businesswomen* by providing up to date, relevant
information and inspiration, but you will also be raising your own profile
and have the opportunity to connect with thousands of business owners.
The ABN also regularly receives requests from other professional organisations
and the media for interviewees, speakers and articles for republication.
If you would like your article to be considered for third party publication,
please ensure that you complete the Release Form.
In the future, individual editions of our publications may be themed and
authors sought in particular industry areas or with specific skills/expertise.
If you are interested in writing for us in the future rather than submitting
an article now, you can also register your willingness to write and your
specific area of expertise with our Author Bank.
Cassandra Butler has written an article 'Your Guide to Writing Articles
that Readers Love' and it may be useful to authors writing for ABN
publications. The article can be down loaded from our website at www.inspiringwomen.com.au
from the Free Business Articles page.
The following articles also appear on our website and are good examples
of the style and quality of articles we are seeking:
- Lodging your first Business Activity Statement by Sabina Donnolley
- Plan for Financial Success as a Woman in Small Business by Melissa
Gilbert
- Careering toward Self-Employment by Megan Wahr.
Simply complete the application form and return it, with your profile, release form and photograph together to ABN, PO Box 122, Rosebery NSW 1445, email info@abn.org.au or fax 1300 720 121.
* Male writers are also welcome.
- The Australian Businesswomen's Network (ABN) does not pay authors
