Rebecca Wallace had a successful career as an educator, teaching refugees English. Ambition and a desire to give her family the very best led her to leave her government job and move into the private sector.
She transitioned in to the Telecommunications field in 2001, joining one of Australia’s leading multi-nationals.
It was during this time that she recognised her love for the recruitment industry and her passion for helping people to grow.
Today her multi-million dollar business is a multi-award winning organisation in a very competitive industry.

Rebecca Wallace is the Managing Director of Launch Recruitment and Launch Executive holding full responsibility for the APAC operations. In addition to her management responsibilities she remains an active search consultant, focusing primarily on clients in telecommunications and agribusiness sectors with a primary emphasis on senior executive and board level appointments. As such Rebecca has completed numerous high level search assignments both in Australia and the Asia Pacific region.
Rebecca commenced her career in the public sector, after completing a Bachelor of Education. She transitioned in to the Telecommunications field in 2001, joining one of Australia’s leading multi-nationals she consulted to clients on voice and data solutions.
In 2003 Rebecca joined an International recruitment firm focussing on running a number of practises. Rebecca assumed a Management position within the firm in 2004 leading a team of 100 Rebecca achieved successful year on year growth of 30%.
Rebecca started the Launch Recruitment business in early 2006. The company now supplies to blue chip organisations across Australian and Asia. The Launch business in ISO 9001 quality assured, has won multiple recruitment industry awards and has continued its rapid growth over the past 4 years.
Rebecca holds post graduate qualifications from the University of NSW in Business and Linguistics. Rebecca is an active member of the RCSA and a global member of EO.
