Mind Your Own Business or MYOB as it is commonly called allows you to
do just that! The software package is simple to learn (although if you've
never touched accounting software before, a few lessons are a great

MYOB is much more than a system to record Receivables and Payables.
For example, did you know that you can create Job Budgets for each new
project you take on?
You can post expenses such as cab fares, couriers and staff wages to
a job so that you can report on what the job actually costs you to perform.
Not only does this keep track of project related expenses but it is
invaluable information for estimating similar jobs in the future to
make sure that will have a healthy profit margin.
You can pay your debtors and staff electronically from MYOB reducing
bank transaction fees from 45c to 15c! And believe it or not it is EASY!
The latest version of MYOB (Version 8) can act as a simple Contact Management
System as well, it allows you to record notes regarding contact with
your clients, create mail merges into standard templates or your own
templates. You can print Group Certificates, Financial reports, full
colour sales graphs all at the press of a button!
