I met Rosemary at my first ever ABN event. It was a "Get the most of your membership" event and I'd never been to a Networking event before. I didn't end up in any of the break out groups with her, but at the end of the night, she was the spokesperson for another group and mentioned her own problem was finding a good web designer. I introduced myself and we swapped cards.
We took over the management of Rosemary's website and gave it a facelift on the way. Since then we've implemented a blog and designed a newsletter template that been a great success for her business. She comes to us regularly for advice and training in all aspects of web and I recently gave her a tour of twitter and explained how it could be useful for her business.
She's a great client and most of all a great business to refer our clients to. Our projects often get bogged down because the client procrastinates on writing their copy, so we send them to her and not only do they get fantastic work but we can get their site live sooner.
I had the good fortune to meet Zoe at an ABN event where everyone got into small groups to share ideas on how to overcome challenges in our businesses. Later, when I presented my group’s challenges to the room, I included mine: the struggle to find a reliable and proactive website developer.
Afterwards Zoe introduced herself. When we met up a few days later she left me in no doubt that she would take my website to the next stage – painlessly. She undertook the redesign of my website’s look and functionality and, once the site was ready to go live, she organised the transfer from my previous ISP.
That was almost a year ago. I continually receive great feedback on my website and e-newsletter.
As well as having a website that works for my business, I love being able to edit my own copy and blog, send an e-newsletter or upload images and PDF files. With Zoe’s system, it takes no time and it’s so easy.
