herViews are Member Advisory Sessions that allow members to provide feedback on ABN products and services, to network with other members and to be part of the development of their community.
herViews Member Advisory Meetings were launched in August 2008 as a way for the Australian Businesswomen's Network Advisory Board and Management to:
1. Evoke feedback and discussion from members to enhance the development of the future direction of the ABN and its programmes.
2. Ensure the ABN stays in touch with the 'real world' environment and issues that confront and concern our membership.
3. Develop an ongoing, interactive dialogue with members and utilise their ability to become advocates of the ABN and its programmes.
These meetings are held quarterly and have successfully sparked conversation between members, provided an opportunity for reflection and focus for new members and through member input, changes have been made to ABN services to better reflect community needs.
At this stage, some of the changes include:
• Live links from your member profile to a URL of your choice, which increases traffic and search engine optimisation for your site
• Bulleted summary of newsletter contents in each bulletin for easy/ quick scanning
• More webinars - The Know-How Now! webinar series runs February to December
• Forums (coming soon) for access to expert opinions and solutions
• Webinar subjects to suit established businesses
• Member Plan - to identify the goals of new and long-term members.
