Inspiration is a very personal thing and means different things to different people. For me it is a higher level of consciousness that taps into divine guidance that influences the mind and the soul.
Inspiration can come in many forms, and I believe you know that you are inspired if you feel passionate and excited about what you are doing or about an idea. People, or a thought, a suggestion or possible course of action can inspire you.
It is very important to find what inspires you and gives you clarity and vision.
One way to get inspired is by creating a Vision Board. A Vision Board helps you to visualise your goals and clarify your dreams.
What is a Vision Board?
Simply start with a piece of cardboard, a whole stack of magazines and choose symbols and images and words that best depict your dreams. Then, create a collage of the images/words and vision that you want to create for your life, on the board.
The beauty of this process of creating a vision board is that nothing is unachievable or out of reach, EVERYTHING is possible and you can unleash your imagination, breaking any self-limiting or self-imposed barriers you might have that are stopping you from living the life you desire. Place your vision board where you can see it on a daily basis with the INTENT that you will attract your dreams and goals to your life. I call it ‘daily inspiration!’
Member Vision Boards - An Inspiration
I was fortunate enough to host a ‘Vision Board Night’ with some ABN members recently and the inspirational women in the room created the most fascinating vision boards under our gentle guidance. What came out of this workshop was absolutely amazing. All the dreams and goals clarified on the Vision Boards. It was great to be privy to the whole process.
To lift your minds and spirits, here are some of my favorite inspirational quotes from social activist, Mother Theresa.
“It is not how much you do, but how much love you put into the doing that matters.”
“The miracle is not that we do this work, but that we are happy to do it.”
“I know God will not give me anything I can’t handle. I just wish that he didn’t trust me so much.”
