Equal Pay Day for 2010 will fall on 4 September. This date illustrates the extra 66 days women have to work after the end of the financial year to earn the same as men, and represents the average gender pay gap of 18% between men and women full-time workers. To register your business’ support of Equal Pay Day, send an email to eowa@eowa.gov.au. A list of all businesses supporting gender pay equity will be posted on the EOWA website.
