Ghazaleh Lyari is the founder and managing director of
Ghermez Cupcakes. Prior to establishing Ghermez, Ghazaleh was most recently a Director at Citigroup's Investment Banking team in Sydney.
Before moving back to Australia in 2006, Ghazaleh worked as a Director in Deutsche Bank's Investment Banking team in San Francisco advising technology companies on capital raising and mergers and acquisitions projects. Prior to Deutsche Bank, Ghazaleh worked on Wall Street as an investment banker for JP Morgan, specialising in technology mergers and acquisitions. Before her investment banking career, Ghazaleh worked in the technology industry at IBM Australia.
