It's the same opportunity that over 200 women business owners have used to grow their business, improve their business skills, increase their confidence, expand their networks, overcome business obstacles…

… and it's THE opportunity for you to do the same.

In less than a week a group of courageous women business owners (just like these women here) will set out on a six-month journey that over 200 others before them have taken to grow their business.

Over six months these business owners will:

  • develop a business plan, operations plan and financial plan
  • solidify their vision, mission and goals
  • determine their ideal customer and how to cater to them
  • discover new ways to market their products and services
  • establish a budget and understand how (and if) they are profiting
    and moving ahead financially
  • establish a social media strategy
  • define a growth plan for the next 12 months
  • explore how to manage virtual staff and employees and how to have them
    perform at their peak

These women will study marketing, business planning, finances, human resources, technology and business development (learning from expert presenters) in a collaborative program designed specifically for women business owners.

They'll implement what they learn with the support of a mentor and in collaboration with other women in their mentoring 'pods'.

They'll explore best practise from examples from around the world, they'll complete tasks and activities to put the learning into action and they'll share experiences and knowledge.

I invite you to join them.

The MentorNet Mentoring Program starts on Monday, 12 October. Personally, I think that it's a must-attend for women in small business.

Here's why…

As a business owner I know (from having run my own business since I was 26 and from supporting thousands of Australian Businesswomen's Network community members over the last 15 years), that a mentor is an invaluable resource that can only help accelerate your business results.

So, don't wait a minute longer.

If you're ready to grow your business, then give your business a good head start for a stronger 2010. Get started with MentorNet next week.

Here's what you need to do:

  1. Apply to be a mentoree by completing the Application form *
  2. Register and pay your tuition by Monday 12th

You'll then be sent a starter kit and details for the program.

Not sure if this program is for you? Here are just a few of the many stories from women who have participated in the program.

I hope that when we launch next week I'll be able to see your name and hear your voice on the first webinar!

If you're in two-minds, then here's what I'd like to do. I'd like you to call and speak to Stella here at the ABN office. She's worked with over 200 women to help them clarify their business goals and, where it's seemed suitable, to recommend the MentorNet program. (If you're ready for a mentor then she'll let you know what other services we can provide that WILL meet your needs.) Call us on 1300 720 120.

I wish you well.

Sincerely,

Suzi Dafnis
Community Director

P.S. Applications close Friday. Don't miss out. You'll have months to wait till the next program - months that your business could be benefiting from a mentor and business skills training from export presenters.

P.P.S. The next six months will pass whether you do anything about growing your business or not. I highly recommend you join this program and take action towards your business success.

Apply today.

*(Note: The program is for women who have had their own business for a minimum of six months.)
