About Andre La Porte
André La Porte is a Creative Director and Trendspotter, and soon to be founder of La Porte Creative, Brisbane's newest creative ad agency.
For the past 18 years he has worked within the advertising, marketing and media industry and has an excellent understanding of both the media and the society that consumes it.
During the past four years André has operated as a freelancer providing creative direction to his direct corporate clients and SME's along with moonlighting for various advertising agencies. In order to service his increasing client list, André will give birth to a dynamic creative agency called La Porte Creative - due in late August.
His experience includes the branding, re-branding and development of marketing and advertising campaigns for clients such as Goodlife Health Clubs, Wendy's, Dreamworld, Greyhound Australia, Tourism Queensland, AMF Bowling Australia and V8 Supercars, through to clients such as NineMSN, Mincom, Allianz Australia and Mitsubishi Motors to name just a few.
Due to his personal and commercial interests in Youth Culture, Consumer Behaviour and Technology André has also been ABC Radio's 'Trendspotter and Cool Hunter' since 2003. Each week André provides listeners throughout the nation with interesting insights and discussion on current and upcoming trends that may challenge the status quo, along with cool ideas from both Australia and around the world.
