Book Study Groups
Books (both print and audio) remain one of the best ways to learn from thought leaders, the trends and developments in business theory and practise. Each of us probably has at least one book that has made a big impact on our lives and our business.
Traditional book clubs are a great way to learn with others. Book Study Groups are the Australian Businesswomen's Network's virtual book clubs - available free to members of the network.
No matter where you are in Australia you can still benefit from the group study experience of our Book Study Groups.
Members read (or listen to) all, or part, or the books and through facilitated discussion look at what the author is saying, how the lessons can be applied to their own business, and each takes action to implement some aspect of the new knowledge while having a supportive team of cohorts to report their progress back to.
(Like much of what we do here at the ABN, we work together with other members, sharing ideas and collaborating suportively for our individual and group development.)
